7- felt a little sluggish getting into today’s session, no idea why. I slept well and ate well as normal. The Snatches took me 45mins to hit 7 singles at 90%, not because they felt heavy, in fact it was the opposite- they felt lifter than normal but positions felt awful today, couldn’t hit any consistent reps. Missed 5 reps on my way to making 7 so it took me 12 reps in total. At this stage I was pissed off but moved on and felt fine on the clean Deadlifts. I was also now already running out of time and only got through 2 rounds of part C of the workout. If I had done all 5 rounds I think the session would have taken over 3 hours, and I just don’t have that amount of time on a Friday yet. I moved on and felt good ok the metcon.

A. Squat snatch; 7 singles @90% 1rm; rest 2 min
(40,50,60,70,75,80,82. 5 missed lifts on route to making 7, frustrating to say the least)

B. Clean grip Deadlift; 3, 2, 1; rest 2:30
(120,130,135kg. Felt fine)

C1. Hollow body rocks; amsap unbroken x5; rest 1 min
C2. Arch body holds; amsap unbroken x5; rest 1 min
C3. Side plank; amsap unbroken x5; rest 1 min
C4. Frog stand; accumulate 1 min x5; rest 1 min
(Only managed 2 rounds, hollow rocks were fine for 60-70s, arch holds were similar time frame. Side planks were 90s each side and frog stands were tougher than I expected due to balance)
3 rounds for time:
Run 400m
21 kbs 2 pood
(8:28. All unbroken apart from last set, hit 12+9 reps with a 5s break. Felt steady enough throughout)
