7- missed yesterday’s session as was travelling back from down the country. Head cold almost gone but still not 100%. Hopefully back to normal routine from today.

A. Split jerk; build to a max
(40,60,80,90,100,105kg. Strength didn’t feel great after the last couple weeks and working on sorting out my jerk footwork so stopped at 105 and hit 3 singles there instead of going up.)

B. Push press; 5×5; rest 2 min
(Used 80kg for all sets. Tough by the last set. Like I said above, my strength levels feel like they’ve dropped with this cold so stayed at 80kg.)

C. Jerk recoveries; 2, 2, 2, 1, 1, 1; rest 2 min
(I haven’t a power/squat cage to perform these heavy so did lighter jerk recoveries out of a higher squat rack.)

D1. Bulgarian ring rows; 10 reps x6; rest 1 min
D2. Hollow body holds; 45 seconds x6; rest 3 min
(No problems here)

E. Side plank elbow twists; 6 reps/side x4; rest 30 seconds bw sides
(Wasn’t exactly sure what you meant here.)
