Oly meet simulation:
Had the Catalyst Athletics coaches over their seminar this weekend couldn’t hit this session on the Friday as was showing them around. I jumped in with them on the lunch break of Saturday instead. Was a great atmosphere and felt pretty good so decided to push for bigger numbers.

Quicker warm up than usual but felt good.
40 x 2 x 3
50 x 2 x 2
60 x 2 x 2
70 x 1
75 x 1
80 x 1

Snatch attempts:
1. 84kg. No problem.
2. 87kg. No problem.
3. 90kg. No problem.

Felt great so went for a PR 94kg but couldn’t save it. Didn’t feel heavy though, felt very close to making it so was happy enough.

Clean&jerk attempts:
1. 105kg. No problem.
2. 110kg. Miss jerk out in front but didn’t feel heavy, just bad footwork.
3. 113kg. (PR attempt) missed jerk again due to footwork but clean felt easy. I wasn’t pissed off about it as I felt good and I know I’ll hit that and more soon.
A. Snatch; 3 singels @93% heaviest from sim
B. Clean and jerk; 3 singles @92% heaviest from sim

C. Back squat; 3×3; rest 3 min
